David Bloom is a media strategist and communications consultant with deep experience as an award-winning journalist, communications executive and social-media strategist. He has worked in senior positions at Deadline Hollywood, Variety, MGM, the USC Marshall School of Business, Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency, Red Herring magazine and the Los Angeles Daily News. He has consulted widely on communications and social-media issues with companies such as Herbalife and Goldstar, and more recently with fast-growing tech startups such as Epoxy.TV and Beachfront Media. He frequently moderates panels and one-on-one conversations on tech and entertainment issues, and has guest lectured at USC, Pepperdine, Chapman University, BIOLA and Cal State – Fullerton among other notable universities. He graduated with honors from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
