As Director, Integrated Marketing and for DEFY Media, home to top digital media networks that create regularly scheduled and award-winning programming for Millennial and Gen Z audiences, Joe Gatdula leads the development of all gaming client sponsorships and brand integrations across the company’s portfolio of top ranked brands that include SMOSH Games, AWEme, and ScreenJunkies (home to “Honest Trailers”), among others. The company currently produces over 72 shows weekly, which combined generate over 800 million video views monthly across 70 million YouTube subscribers, and have earned its brands more than 100 million social media followers. He has led and developed programs for a wide range of gaming focused brand partners that include Ubisoft, Sony PlayStation, Nintendo, Disney, and FunPlus, as well as many others.
Joe serves as DEFY’s integrated marketing group gaming industry thought-leader, bringing his expertise and knowledge of current and emerging gaming trends to match partners with compelling and innovative sponsorship opportunities.
Prior to his role at DEFY, Joe served as Associate Director, Xbox Media Planning at Empower Media, where he oversaw both global strategy and U.S. media activation for over three years.
